Turning Booking Chaos into Calm – Iluka Beachouse

Iluka is a small coastal town on the NSW North Coast, known for its beaches, river, and relaxed pace of life. Running holiday rentals here should feel just as relaxed. But for Iluka Beachouse, managing multiple properties across different booking sites was anything but.

Calendars weren’t syncing. Double-bookings were a real risk. And instead of enjoying the coastline, the owners were stuck in admin mode.

The Problem

Multiple listings. Multiple calendars. Too many moving parts. It only takes one overlap for a guest to turn up and discover their room’s already taken. For a business built on reputation, that’s a nightmare.

The Solution

I went searching for a system that could make booking management simple. After exploring several options, I recommended Lodgify – a platform that centralises bookings for multiple properties into one easy-to-use backend.

From there, I built and customised the Iluka Beachouse website directly in Lodgify. Clean, modern, and aligned with their brand – but also functional. To add more trust and credibility, I coded a custom review carousel that automatically pulls in reviews from Google and Booking.com. Social proof, on autopilot.

The Outcome

Now, the Iluka Beachouse team can focus on welcoming guests to one of the most beautiful spots on the NSW coast, while their website quietly handles bookings in the background.

No more double-bookings. No more stress. Just streamlined stays.

Why This Matters

A great website doesn’t just look good. It solves real business problems. In this case, technology turned a stressful process into a seamless one – freeing up time, building trust, and letting the business do what it does best.

Helping Iluka Beachouse was also personal. It’s one of my local communities, and giving them a digital home that does justice to the location was a project I’m proud of.
