I love a great charity, so when Mitch and the team approached me to design a logo, flyers and brochures for their annual Beef @ The Barriers charity marquee event, I didn't hesitate on taking the job on.
The brief was clear and simple, combine beef & country in with horse racing while keeping it clear and easy to read. When I think country, I think sunrise and sunsets with earthy colours. So creating silhouettes of the elements was a great way to get the sunrise/sunset feeling across. I also spread across the grass through out the text to make the logo look like it's sitting on the ground.
